Modern windshields are constructed from laminated safety glass that is designed to withstand impacts. This laminated glass is highly resistant to shattering because it’s composed of two layers of glass with a plastic resin called Polyvinyl Butyral in between them. These windshields are designed to stop the roof from collapsing during a rollover, ensure airbags deploy properly, and prevent passengers from being ejected during an accident, reducing the chances of serious injury or fatality.

Even the smallest chip or crack can compromise your windshield’s integrity and needs to be repaired as soon as possible. Not all chips and cracks require a complete windshield replacement – if the damage is under six inches, doesn’t block a camera or sensor, and is smaller than a dime, then we can repair it for you. Our certified technicians will fill the crack or chip with a specialized resin that bonds with the glass to restore its strength and prevent future damage. The resin is cured with a UV light to ensure it’s crystal clear and blends seamlessly into the rest of the glass.

If your windshield has incurred substantial damage though, our techs will have to replace the entire windshield for you. We start with removing the damaged windshield, then use advanced primers and adhesives to secure the new one into place. After the windshield is set, we’ll vacuum up any broken glass that may have been left behind by the previous windshield. We can also replace your vehicle’s rear windshield and any of the side windows as well.
